The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot with smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its run time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also automatically refills and self-empties its water tank.
1. iRobot Roomba j7+
The Roomba J7+, iRobot's smartest robot to date, is the Roomba J7+. Its most notable innovation is its camera-based obstacle-detection system. It makes use of AI to recognize objects such as charging cables and shoes. It's the first robot to send you images of objects that it encounters, so that you can tell the robot to stay clear of it.

While the iRobot Home app is very easy to use however, we've found it to be less reliable than other apps that use robotic cleaners. It can take some time to download updates and it is sometimes difficult to tell if they are working until you actually see them in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you're looking for a robot vacuum that does more than just clean floors, your most effective option is likely to be hybrid. This type of robot typically has a built-in water tank which means they can mop and vacuum your home simultaneously. These bots also have many additional features such as smart mapping and small object avoidance and the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. The negative is that they tend to be pricey at full retail, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they often drop in price.
Roborock is the manufacturer of some of our favorite robotic vacuums, and the Q5+ doesn't fail to impress. This is the least expensive model of their auto-empty line. Although it might not come with some of the luxurious features (like no-go zones and multi-story memories) however, it's a great choice for those who are willing to make a few compromises to save a few bucks.
The Q5+ is extremely gentle when it comes to obstacles like tables and walls. This makes it a great choice for homes that have a lot of furniture. It's also very thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies, which is an area which many robot vacuums often fall short. The technology for navigation in the Q5+ is excellent too, with very little missing in corners and along walls.

It's also unable to climb stairs like other competitors and doesn't come with a dock that can create a cleaning zone for carpets that are soft.
Although it doesn't provide as much in the way of cleaning-related options in its app or as many shortcuts in the app as other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for anyone looking for an all-around great mop and vacuum cleaner that's worth the higher price price.
If you're looking to save money or don't mind the limitations of the robot, there are plenty of other options available. Many eufy models cost significantly less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for instance is a bit more expensive and has more features, such as stair climbing and a full-function Dock, that provides an improved overall experience when vacuuming on bare floors carpets with low pile, and even high-pile carpets.

Eufy is an Anker company that has an established track record of making robot vacuums that have the right balance of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different, offering a capable cleaning of hard floors and mopping functions as well as carpets at a price that is affordable.
